July 7-11, 2025 Summer Camp: The Summer Rocket Lab is a week-long adventure into the exciting world of rocketry and space exploration. Designed for young minds eager to learn and create, the camp offers two age-specific sessions tailored to 2nd and 3rd graders, as well as incoming 4th and 5th graders. Through hands-on activities, engaging lessons, and creative projects, participants will discover the principles of rocket science, explore the history of the U.S. space program, and ignite their curiosity about the universe.
These are resources for my July 2025 Rocket Engineering Camps for elementary age students. I am teaching two camps: A morning camp for rising 2nd and 3rd graders, and an afternoon camp for rising 4th and 5th graders.
Students work on 4 rocket building challenges during our camp:
Straw Rockets
Foam Rockets
Paper Stomp Rockets
Bottle Rockets
All our lesson activities for the week are included in this slideshow.
